Hi! This is the agreement between you and the developer of Tankbar (“we”) about using Tankbar. By installing or playing Tankbar, you agree to it. We’ve kept it short.
1. What you get
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and play Tankbar on your own devices, for your own enjoyment. You’re buying a license to play the game, not the game’s code or art.
2. What you can do
- Stream it, record it and make videos of it, including monetized ones. The in-game music is fine to use in your Tankbar videos and streams.
- Share screenshots and photo-mode pictures of your tank anywhere.
- Back up and move your save between your own computers.
3. What you can’t do
- Resell, rent or redistribute the game or its files (outside what Steam allows, like Family Sharing).
- Reverse-engineer or modify the game to cheat in the Harbor, attack our servers, or ruin things for other players.
- Use the Harbor to harass anyone, or pick display names, tank names or fish names that are hateful, sexual, or impersonate someone.
Single-player tinkering with your own offline save is your business. Just keep it out of the Harbor.
4. The Harbor (the optional online mode)
- The Harbor uses in-game pearls only. There’s no real-money trading, and pearls and fish have no real-world value. Please don’t sell them for money.
- Things you put into the Harbor (display name, tank snapshot, show entries, the preset phrase on a gift) are shown to other players. You give us permission to store and display them for as long as they’re part of the Harbor.
- We may filter, hide or remove names and content, or suspend Harbor access for accounts that break these rules.
- We’ll do our best to keep the Harbor running, but we may change or eventually close it. If we ever do, we’ll give reasonable notice in-game and on Steam. Your tank never depends on the Harbor. Everything offline keeps working.
5. Updates
We may update the game to fix bugs and add content. We plan to make every content update free for everyone who owns Tankbar.
6. Ownership
Tankbar, its code, art, music and text belong to the developer and its licensors. Third-party components and their licenses are listed in the LICENSES folder of the game install.
7. No warranty
We work hard to make Tankbar lovely and stable, but it’s provided “as is”. We can’t promise it will be error-free or work on every setup.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Tankbar. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under the laws of your country (for example, EU consumer law), or liability that can’t legally be limited.
9. Ending this agreement
You can end it any time by uninstalling Tankbar. We can end your license if you seriously break this agreement (for abuse of the Harbor, usually just your access to the Harbor).
10. Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Denmark, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections where you live.
